This book dealt with many, many issues which are relevant to living in today's world. There are the usual Mother- daughter issues. But, more promenately are issues regarding mother-son- grandparent, women serving in war zones, death of a young father, getting older gracefully, rekindling a stale relationship and of course, the boy next door. In this case it happens to be the doctor next door.
I enjoyed this book and felt like I was part of the family as this story about love within ones family unfolded. I would give this book a good recommendation!
