This was an amazing and wonderful book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has questions about the afterlife and what happens when we die.

This was a very touching and loving tribute to Carol Burnett's daughter Carrie. The book is mostly letters and emails between the two, but you can feel how much she truly loved her daughter, and the heartbreak she was feeling when she lost her. I didn't care very much for the second half of the book, which was an unfinished story that Carrie was writing before her death, I would have loved to read more stories about their relationship and struggles, but overall, I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this book, and felt that it was very well researched. Clover Adams led a very fascinating yet tragic life. She traveled the world and had many interesting and famous friends and acquaintances. I think that ultimately Clover wanted more than just to be Mrs Henry Adams. I also enjoyed seeing some of Clover's photographs, as she was one of the very first portrait photographers.

This was a fun read. The author talks about the requirements, training and stress that comes with being a flight attendant. Along with some juicy stories about pilots, crazy passengers and a behind the scenes look at the aviation industry.

I'm sure this book was written to shock people, (and it does), it was a little hard for me to believe that the author could remember such exact details from 50 plus years ago. Many of his stories are quite disturbing, like his encounters with priests as a boy. And it was a little sad that he felt the only fulfillment in his life was bringing people together for a sexual encounter. In the end, I felt sorry for Mr Bowers.

This is a well written and touching book. Marie's mother kept a diary throughout her life, and this book is a tribute to her, with bits of wisdom and advise. But is also shows what a strong and positive woman Marie is. She has been through so much, and I am sure many women can relate to many of her experiences.

I have to agree with Keri-this book is mostly about Belinda's many years of cocaine use. I wished she had written more about her experiences with the Go-go's. By the end of the book, I learned that she did a lot of drugs, but not much else.

This is actually two books in one. The author started writing a book about a young girl from the 1800's who died at a very young age. But the drama and chaos surrounding her son started to overwhelm her, and she started writing about him, who she was losing to drugs. So in a way, it was about 2 lost children, born many years apart. I actually was more interested in the research and people she met while looking for information about Mary, the young girl who had died. A lot of the information she found was really interesting. The problems with her son were severe, and reading about his struggles was difficult.I can't imagine the heartache she went through, but both parts of the book kept me riveted.

This book was hard to read, the decisions made by these young girls was heartbreaking, but I could not put it down. I kept hoping these girls would turn their lives around and better themselves and their children. I highly recommend this book, it is a sobering look at life on the streets of the Bronx, and struggles with poverty, drugs and prison life.

While I think Ms Buell is mostly known now as the mother of Liv Tyler, she certainly has led an interesting life. She definitely has a very high opinion of herself, claiming to be the muse or inspiration for many records and songs (Little red Corvette??)
This is a fast and light read, with many risque stories about rock stars and celebrities.

I really wanted to like this book, I admire Stella, I think she has a great positive attitude on life. Some of her stories about being a plus size woman in the modeling industry were interesting, however I found the book to be a bit repetitive. Her writing was kind of all over the place and a bit flat. I agree that she is sexy and beautiful, but I could have done without reading that on every page.
