I really enjoyed this book, and felt that it was very well researched. Clover Adams led a very fascinating yet tragic life. She traveled the world and had many interesting and famous friends and acquaintances. I think that ultimately Clover wanted more than just to be Mrs Henry Adams. I also enjoyed seeing some of Clover's photographs, as she was one of the very first portrait photographers.
