I believe this is Debbie Macomber's best work ever. Any woman born late 40's to mid 50's will find some part of her own life here. To those born late 70's to mid 80's, it might help you "get" your mom.

Book of the Dead (Kay Scarpetta, Bk 15) (Audio CD) (Abridged)
Review Date: 2/10/2010

I believe this is one of the best Scarpetta novels to date. It was well produced and the reader (sorry, forgot her name and the book is at home right now) was excellent. She did different voices for each character, which I enjoyed.

This was really funny! I haven't laughed so much in ages.

The Christmas Pearl (Audio CD) (Unabridged)

This book was heart warming and humorous. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Dorothea Benton Frank is a marvelous author and worth a try if you're looking for a new author.

Classic Binchy...heartwarming, humorous and good for the soul. If you liked Quentins or Scarlet Feather, you will like this.

He's Just Not That Into You: The No-Excuses Truth to Understanding Guys (Audio CD) (Unabridged)
Review Date: 6/15/2010

I thought this was going to be a story but instead it's a dating self-help book for women. It has some funny bits in it but, as a married woman, I just wasn't that into this book.

The three books in this collection are quite good if you like your romance novels served up with a big dose of faeries and magic. I enjoyed the first two but struggled with the third and eventually gave up. It was just a little too "out there" for me.

This is typical George Carlin. He has a way of looking at things that are pretty off the wall and funny. The only downside is that he uses the f*** word so many times that I lost count. He doesn't need swear words to be funny; I wish he would let his comedy stand on its own merit. If you're not easily offended by constant swearing, you'll really enjoy this book.
