Another classic. I had not read this one in a while and was glad to read it again. A social pathology study from 1963 where criminals take over the future.

Trust me on this one. The book is way better than the movie. It was great to learn about the Civil War from the perspective of a woman and the difficulties of living in that time.

This book is a Pulitzer Prize winner and a great read. The story of 3 women envelope you during this read. I felt real empathy for the characters and could relate to many of the feelings so eloquently expressed in the book. A great opportunity to reflect on our own lives.

For a long flight or vacation, this book is great. A fine mystery starting with a murder in the current day with ties back to WWII and the German occupation of the island of Guernsey.
