I love this book! It is definitely a favorite!! I will read it every year. Timeless references and insight to the life of women. It comforted me to know that she struggled with the same things I struggle with daily. I recommend it to any woman who is searching for the meaning in her life.

This is the BEST book I have read on understanding and dealing with your teenager. It gives REAL practical advice and tells you in black and white how to use it. It does have some Christian specific sentences. If you are Not Christian - DO NOT LET THIS STOP YOU FROM READING IT!! The information in this book is superb, and the religious references are minimal. I would recommend this book to everyone who has ANY difficulty in communicating with their teen. I have learned so much. Within DAYS of using the information, my relationship with my daughter has DRASTICALLY IMPROVED! Kudos to Ross Campbell!!!

What an absolutely moving story. Wonderfully insightful. A look into the life of one of the 80's icons and her private struggle with an alcoholic husband and overeating. It brings it up slowly to the turning point and brings the book to a close nicely with love, hope, and determination. Truly an inspiration! Thank you Valerie for sharing!!

What an amazing and riveting story! I actually sat in my driveway on a Saturday for 2 hours and listened to the story. I never do that! Never! This has such amazing insight into a senseless act of violence from the eyes of the victim. Wow! Just - Wow!
