A very good book. Brings out the human nature of people, not willing to stand up against a bully. Such a good picture of the friendship that can bond the races. A look at what it was like in the era of lynchings.

This is a really good story about three women who changed their minds about thier vocation. Each is a nun and it follows them through their choice to be a nun and then their decision to give it up. There is a lot of human nature written into the story.

A story set in 14th century England. A corpse is found seemingly killed by a wild animal but things just don't add up. I enjoyed the history of what life was like at that time.

I really enjoyed this book. It is unbelievable that people could live through some of the things this family faced. They had parents who seemed to love them and were proud of them, seemed intelligent in their own way, but had no ambition. It is to Jeanette's credit that she turned out as she did.

Set in 1800s England, this is a wonderful story of the love that almost got away. Juliana has always adored Hawk since she was a little girl. Now that she is grown, love is full blown.
