Suzanne Brockmann does it again. The combination of the elusive Navy Seal "Blue" McCoy & Lucy Tait, who has had a crush on him since high school, explodes when he is accused of murder. She is a local town police officer that has to handle his case. Will it be "too hot for her to handle?" A good read.

This story was a heart-wrenching account of a family whose members must learn about forgiveness---both giving it and receiving it---forgiving others, but also forgiving themselves. It's a story that may have developed from the author questioning what would be an almost impossible circumstance to try to forgive someone.

His assignment is to pass himself off as a European prince, who as been targeted by terrorists, with the help of media consultant Veronica St John. Sparks definitely fly when "Lt. Joe" becomes "Prince Joe." If you like Suzanne Brockmann you won't be disappointed !

This is one of the best romantic novels that I have ever read. You will find yourself staying awake past bedtime to read a little more...then a little more. It's definitely a page-turner. You think you know what will happen, but then it doesn't. It is very family friendly, with no bad language, but gets across the message of true love. A love that will last until death & beyond.

Terry Kay writes a fascinating story of the friendship between two young boys, one white & one black. in the 1940's. They don't understand or care about racial prejudice, but they soon learn about it first hand. Beautifully written.

Faye Kellerman's Cindy Decker is back the rookie police officer wants to make her father Lt. Decker proud of her, she also wants to earn her "gold shield." When she finds a new born baby in a dumpster, she starts a roller coaster ride of an adventure that takes her to the streets of inner-city Hollywood, where she mixes it up with street gangs, street people & ends up with a few "street dreams" of her own. Finding love along the way doesn't hurt. Fast paced & exciting.

I loved the book. I just "discovered" Robert Crais through a book club buddy & I thoroughly enjoyed the story, especially the character "Maggie." I'm looking forward to the next phase "Promise" that comes out in November 2016.
