I finished this in one day. The writing is evocative and lyrical. Each essay presents a different concept of time by illustrating how it would affect human behavior. In many cases, they illustrate how people actually view time and how that view can be detrimental.

This is a very entertaining book, especially if you are an animal lover. You will thoroughly enjoy the antics of Chris the pig, as well as the other animals.
The effect Chris has on those who are lucky enough to know him is touching and shows how much we can learn about ourselves if we just recognize we are part of nature, not its master.

The book is interesting, but a bit disjointed.

This is an extremely entertaining and fast paced book. The story jumps from one adventure to another without any fluff or letdown. The writing is witty. I can't wait to read the next one.
