I have this book, though I'm not the one offering it here - this is a great book and I'm keeping mine!! This story is about 500 years of a family line, each generation having a Rachel. There is another as well you should consider - The Lives of Rachel which is 1,000 years. It's simply excellent!!

No stone is left unturned in this account of the Bounty mutineers and how Bligh's precarious character was used to secure their pardons. Debunks many of the popular myths of Bligh as a draconian slave-driver and re-examines the complicity of the mutineers.

From Amazon \"Theresa Medeiros creates a captivating story of a handsome prince with ten little children to care for. He looks for an ugly duckling so he won\'t be tempted to make ten more. What he finds is a beautiful woman who already feels the sting of rejection. The two of them circle each other with tantalizing slowness, interspersed with alot of fun as Willow gang up on Bannor with his children.\"

Good idea for a story and I would have really liked it except for the unnatural dialog and repetitive action comments (Charles decided he would get a sandwich. Charles got a sandwich and proceeded to eat it. When he was done with the sandwich....) you get the idea. The book could have been written in half the pages and the story better expanded on and the characters could have been developed better. I still liked the basics of the story.

from the back of the book \"From the golden pleasure domes of Constantinople to the barbaric pomp of Malcolm of Scotland\'s court, this is the magical tale of ravishingly beautiful mairin of Aelfleah, called Enchantress by the three men who loved her: Basil, Prince of Byzantium, who taught her passion\'s tender secrets...Josselin de Combourg, gallant knight of William the Conqueror...and Eric Longsword, the Viking whose tragic love for Mairin would never be fulfilled. And in their wild world gone mad with savage war, only love could triumph over all!
