It was a really good book. Almost couldn't put it down. It was historical and informative, but at the same time, a really absorbing story.

I really enjoyed Breakfast with Buddha. In the beginning it was rather humorous, then got more serious and thought-provoking as it went on. Definitely worth reading.

I think the book - and the illustrations- is delightful! I am a huge Beatrix Potter fan. That's why I wanted to buy it to keep, as well as one to give to a friend.

I absolutely loved this book. I got the audio cassette for a friend who is blind. It is so full of imagery of Dutch life in the 1600's.

Not great literature. It's a little trashy and a little "dark", but definitely a page-turner.

Love in Black and White is actually
The Bridges of Madison County. It was given that name in Great Britain, where this edition was published.

I first read it in the 1980's, and I just think it is a classic family drama. It is well-written, and I love the settings and the characters, and the way the story unfolds.
