I laughed out loud thru this entire book. O'Hurley not only is an excellent dancer (he won the first Dancing with the Stars contest), but an excellent author. He talks about his wife's pregnancy and delivery that had tears running down my cheeks from laughter. His first book, "It's OK to miss the bed on the first jump" is just as good also.

this was the first Michael Connelly book I ever read and now I've read at least a dozen. I normally do not like lawyer books (I've just had enough John Grisham, thank you very much) but this was excellent. There is real tension and the ending was a surprise.

I'm a big Marjorie Merriweather Post fan and have been to her home/museum in Washington, D.C. so I really enjoyed this book. It tells of her early life along with her life with husband E.F. Hutton. That was life in the fast track with Hutton. The part about life with her third husband, the Ambassador to Russia was very interesting. It was the beginning of frozen food and she shipped an entire freezer full of food to Russia. worth reading if you like biographies.

Isabel Allende writes with magnificient descritive prose. this book is well worth reading. I have found every book she has written worth the investment of time.

This above all other how-to books was the best. I didn' know a thing about how to play poker and had tried other books but this was the most down to earth/easy explanation book yet.

This book is so good and so funny that I have ordered three copies from PBS to give to friends. Each chapter is a different event in O'Hurley's life with his dogs so reading can start at any chapter that interests you. Not only is O'Hurley a great dancer, actor, and master of ceremonies, he is an engaging and funny author.

One of Elizabeth George's best efforts. The lead character, Lynley, is away from Scotland Yard and on his own. The surrounding characters are rich and complete as is the description of the town, the sea cave, and the sea walk. This one is a keepr.

If you have ever considered helping wildlife, this is the book to help. It gives detailed information about how to handle injured wildlife. A must have!
