Breeders is a novel set in a small country village in England. It is a well written novel. I really enjoyed reading it. I often would wonder what the charcters of the book were doing and I wan not engrossed in it. If covers every thing in the dog world the good, bad and ugly. It also covers the same on the human side. A short story by Stephen King. Not so much a crime story. A body is found on a beach with no identification. This is a quick read, humorous at times. The ending very suprising. I recomend this book.

First in the series of Tea Shop Mysterys this was a light read. I was a little disappointed in it. I thought the plot was thin at best. There were alot a possiblities on who could have been the vililan and than bam the case was solved, story over. I felt cheated. I hope the other books in the series are better.

I enjoyed this book. At times it was difficult to read because of the language translation from the Swedish. Once you get past that it was very imforative. The Emigrants follows three familys on their journey to America. This is book one of the triolgy. The first part of the book explains life in Sweeden in a small parish. The author takes great pains on explaining social order of the time. He also describes the family and how they come to their decision to immigrate. The second desribes life aborad the ship. You will learn what the day to day life was like. How had it was to be at sea. I recomand this book

This was the first romance fiction I read from this author. Forget me Not. It is set in Wyomia. The main charcters are dealing with loss and betrayal. The book was just ok for me. Ther was to much discriptions of leaves plants and food. Ther was enough of a plot to keep me reading I just skipped alot of paragrahs.

I enjoyed Beatiful dreamer alot better. This one to is set in the West. It deal with strugles of runing a ranch. I recommed this book

Julie was inspired by Catherine Marshall,s own life. Its is set a small town in Pennsylvania. Set during the depression and the begining of the labor movement. It shows what can happen when there is corropt power. I like that alot of the book themes where still relevant today. Julie going from teenager to a young woman. Seeing her father struggle w/his faith. Her own strugles with God. It was a story that I wanted to keep on going.

This the first book I read of this author. I would like to read more. It is set in 1850,s England. It draws on what is happening during the time period. Using acutal histroical fiqures. A murder mystery with a christian slant to it. The herorines brother is accused of murder. It is a slam dunk case. She must use the help of an actor to help. He is also a christian. She and her family dont belive in God. It fun to watch the charcters come around. I recommed this book.

What a odd little mystery. I still don't know who done it. It is the first book I've read of this author. Maybe if I read other Miss Seeton books, I could have followed it better. Its was intersting enough to keep me reading it. Basicly there is a kidnapping of a Scotish heiress. A murder and a consirery to over throw the British Crown. Miss Seeton is involved in all of it.
Drawing pictures but not really solving anything. This was a very strange mystery.
