This is such a great book from Dr. Dyer, it really makes you stop and think about the excuses you use to keep you from being and doing your best in your life. He was one of my all time favorite teachers, may he R.I.P.

I love Marie Chapian's books. She writes in a way that speaks to my heart and I love this book. She has daily devotions that seem to be written for exactly what I need each day.

The Soul of an Octopus: A Surprising Exploration into the Wonder of Consciousness
Review Date: 5/9/2021

this is an amazing book and I would rate it as one of my all time favorites. I also listened to the audio book read by the author and Sy Montgomery's voice is messmerizing. After reading this book I became obsessed with Octopus, they are so intelligent and interesting and this book teaches you so much. Just recently a documentary won an academy award called My Octopus Teacher, it includes only a fraction of the information on Octopus that this book does. Read it, you will be in love with these amazing and mysterious creatures.

Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder
Review Date: 11/28/2017

Arianna Huffington is such a wise woman and my respect for her grew tremendously after reading this book. She has great quotes from great "thinkers" of the past and she isn't afraid to speak of her own vulnerabilities and mistakes. Well worth the read, I also listened to her read it with an audio book and I like that even more.

This was a great book to read if you were a Beatles Fan. Shortly after reading it PBS aired the Eight Days a Week documentary made by Ron Howard in 2016 and this book gave so many rich details to coincide with movie. I was really happy I had read the book before seeing the special. It gave a whole different perspective to many of things that I remember when I was in elementary school about the the Fab 4. The years with Eric Clapton were very sad, he was one messed up guy and I hope he has his life together now. He is too talented to waste it on drugs and alcohol.

Pattie Boyd, led an interesting life but she seemed to be in a daze most of the time. Can't understand why she put up with some of the stuff she did but sure hope she has a great relationship now.
