Just wasted several days reading this book. Kept hoping something interesting would happen. It didn't. Don't think I'll be wasting my time on any other Dan Brown books. I can't believe I spent so much time on this trash!

Not what I expected but interesting stories. Some pretty dated (Dickens). Stories by various authors through the years. Not travelogues. If you are looking for something a little different, this might be the book for you.

Boring and repetitive. Is there anyone around who is more right wing than this guy? He's written some good stuff but this is just formula dashed off to make a buck.

Readable but opinionated to a fault. I don't agree with every point of view of the books I read but I do like a balance. This book is badly out of balance.
