Fascinating, fast-paced story about two young men and their interconnectedness. I could not put it down. Also offers interesting insight into normal Scottish life and how the Scots view sex, pubs, women, and California. A must-read for many, particularly those who are fans of Chuck Palaniuk.

Incredible, must-read. The story of the creation of the Chicago Colombian Exposition is beautifully paralled with the true-story of one of Chicago's most sinister murderers.
