i believed all the hype and read it, what a waste of time. the lack of creativity and the forced writing style just wasted my time. I kept waiting for the good parts that everyone else had found and enjoyed and nope, they never came.

highly disappointing, i've read all the 'in death' series and i find this one to be lacking, it never hooked me in. all the usual characters are there just something big missing..

The Girl in the Spider's Web (Millennium, Bk 4)
Review Date: 2/22/2016

we all know we needed more Lisbeth, but not like this.. it fell far short of the original books, especially when it comes to the main character we all needed more of. Its a decent book, had you not known about the previous 3 books, you would really enjoy this one.

along with the first book, this quickly became my favorite reading in a long time. it seems like all the books out there are so easily confused with each other, there is no character quite like lisbeth. Yes, the names are hard to keep track of, but overall, this is a great book. i cannot wait to read the hornets nest next and am very sad that there will be no further books from this author.

it definitely starts out slow, but i fell so in love that i read the first two books in four days. i was on vacation and couldn't put it down, i had to run out and buy the girl who plays with fire. now i'm on a hunt for the hornets nest.. so so sad that Steig passed away (in 2004) and there will not be any future books from him. these are the rare books that will be staying at my home and not being listed on here, so i can re-read them over and over again..

i f*cking love the way she writes. all these complaints about overly graphic violence surprise me. she always takes you to the next level and makes it hurt. she wants that visceral pain that the victim feels to be felt by the reader. i cried like a baby when it went down and i could only picture my sisters, made me sick to my stomach.. i love love love books that create that much of a feeling in me.

Nice to know she's an orphan black fan too! (shot out to ally)

this is NOT a spy thriller as I was led to believe. this is a jesus / christian book pretending to be a spy thriller. the title of the book is VERY appropriate..i found it preachy and bs from about the third page.. what a waste of my credit..i wouldn't have minded it if they just said it was a christian spy thriller..
