These stories are each rich in detail and woven together beautifully.

Story lines could be interesting, but none are followed through. Characters could be interesting, but none are developed. Left me scratching my head, but not pining for more.

This is a light book with a predictable outcome. Quick read.

Slightly heavy book about various and interesting French characters during WWII, showing the mentality of a Nazi occupied population. There are some light points and funny turns for some characters. Heavy on the details and found that I needed to review chracater traits once we returned to the person/group.

Interesting, but don't need to read again!

Book Club average was 2 out of 5. I loved her other book "Where Are You Bernadette' so I thought we'd all enjoy this one. None of us (9) found any of the characters endearing and the sofa scene almost made me lose my lunch. Only bonus - its an easy, quick read.
