Great story with richly developed characters. History cleverly interwoven with fiction. Story and plot line work well together to maintain the readers interest. Four star rating awarded based on the fact that this is the first book in the series that I have been able to read. It is however not the actual first book of the series.

Another well written book by Jack Higgins. Sean Dillon as usual plays the cocky yet suave hitman/enforcer for the British government. If you have read the previous books in the series then this one continues in the same fine tradition.

Son of Stone continues the ongoing saga of Stone Barrington with some unique twists as his life continues to unfold before us. Once again Stuart Woods does not disappoint.
