This book fascinated me because I read Lori Gottlieb's articles these days in magazines and find them well written and entertaining. I got a glimpse into her childhood and could relate to her on some levels. I enjoyed reading this book with her frank and dry wit as a child. She touches on issues that teens these days are facing more and more. I recommend this book not only for teens and their high school reading lists but for adults of teens and pre-teens as well. I read it in two days.

The Volumetrics Weight-Control Plan : Feel Full on Fewer Calories
Review Date: 8/14/2008
Helpful Score: 5

I love this book and am currently following its guidelines for food intake and exercise. I am filling up on high fiber foods and exercising every day and drinking lots of water. This plan works!! It is sensible (like weight watchers) and easy to do but you must (like everything else) be willing to commit to it. You can make simple slow easy changes in your life which makes this program/book really work for me! :) I highly recommend this book to everyone.
