The Alchemist: A Fable About Following Your Dream
Review Date: 9/29/2010

This is my first Coelho book. It was amazing, the story and characters were delicate. I found that my Personal Journey was starting as I read this book. The question of what would I sacrifice to realize my personal legend came up many times. I could read this book several times and get something out of it each time.

Although this was published a decade ago, it reminded me of what the american dream and mid-life crisis can bring. What is interesting is that Adam had such and impact on people that really didn't know him

I first though this was going to be a over the top sex book when I saw a review by Zane on the back. I don't read those types of books. However, this book was about redemption and the forms it can take. Redemption for the things we have done and things done to us. Really enjoyed this book, especially since I have a little girl.
