I LOVED this book. It held my interest to the very end. However, I was a little disappointed in how it ended. It was a little abrupt and left you saying, "that's it?!"

I just finished this book and I enjoyed this book immensely!! I have read the author's previous books about this character (Bread Alone & The Baker's Apprentice) so I had already experienced this author's writing.

This was a hard story to read as far as the subject matter (depression) but it was very insightful on how it affects the family/partner of the person afflicted with this condition.

I hope this author has another book coming out as I love her style.

I never say the movie so when I saw this book available, I really wanted to read it. And, I am glad I did. I enjoyed it very much and will now have to watch the movie to see the similarities (hopefully)! I liked the "french" influence in the writing which made it feel like I was there. I took french in high school so it was neat to know some of the verbage!! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to read something "a little different"!

"I" loved this book. I liked the author's style of writing. It was an interesting story...sometimes a little depressing but necessary to get the story told.

I will try to read more of this author!!

I really enjoyed this book and I like this author. I was, however, a little disappointed in the ending. It was rather abrupt and I felt like the story could have gone on a bit longer to wrap things up. But, I still enjoyed it!!

I am still reading this book but I am enjoying it very much. I live in Parma, a suburb of Cleveland, so I find the references to the city sites very interesting. I think it would make a great movie, particularly since Cleveland has been a backdrop for many recent films!
