I guess I didn't understand the warning in the first chapter, so I spent a few hours over several days reading this book.
At times engrossing, but by the end, simply grotesque.

Outstanding story and writing. This is the only book I have ever read twice within one week. The second time was simply to enjoy the emotional tug of the major characters.
