If you liked the film "Super Size Me", you will love this book. Surlock's writing style is easy and fun to read. It had me laughing out loud - as well as seriously concerned about the current state of our country's obesity epidemic.

Here is what critics, authors, booksellers, and readers themselves have selected as the best fiction of the century. For the first time, more than 800 winners of such literary prizes as the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Hemingway Award for first fiction, the Agatha Award for mystery, and the Caldecott Medal for children's stories are gathered together in a handy little book.

Use "Literary Laurels" as a checklist of what you've read and what you want to read next. A must for fiction lovers.
