Excellent book, even better than Riding Lessons, the first book that I loved. I think she develops her chartacters better and you empasize and understands the decisions they may more. I'll admitt I'm a horse person, so I liked hearing some of the details, but even if you are not very familiar with this world, she makes it understandable for the masses. I also enjoy the generational theme of relationships with her own mother and her daughter. Living together is never easy. I hope she writes a third!

Luanne Rice rarely dissapoints and she hits another home run with this book about family and heartache. Raising teenagers and faced with turmoil in life makes things difficult and the heroine has to resolve some of her own issues with her extended family before her own family can figure things out. I really enjoyed this.

Excellent book. I would not call it strictly romance, but great for moms who struggle with trying to be "super" mom. Mystery thrown in.

Mr. Hynde is Out of His Mind! (My Weird School, Bk 6)
Review Date: 1/21/2011

My son says this is the funniest book in the series. It is about a music teacher who is a wanna be rap star. I personally can't vouch for it, but he roared with laughter!

Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption
Review Date: 10/27/2013

This book is an excellent history of one man's struggle. I'd highly recommend it. The movie is coming out in November 2013 and it's always better to read the book prior to a movie. I wish I could see this guy speak. He must be awesome to hear. If you only read one book this year, read this one.

Younger Next Year for Women: Live Strong, Fit, and Sexy -- Until You're 80 and Beyond
Review Date: 5/9/2010
Helpful Score: 2

This is a great book. I teach fitness and it is a good reminder of waht we all need to do. At times I thought the guy was a little presumptious, but overall it was good. The best part was the end where you have to think about life after kids and what quality do you want it to be. I'd highly recommend this.
