LOVED this book. Wonderful book to make you think about being human, human rights, human commonalities and differences, human connections. Loved the perspectives from the main characters, it was extremely touching, easy to relate to, and thought-provoking.

I bought this book at an airport on a whim, and read it while waiting around...it was a fascinating story! I had no idea how much Tourette's syndrome was similar to my son's "autism" characteristics, really goes to show how little doctors know and how they are all just labels that do not mean much. The best was learning what really helped him (wasn't the drugs). Being on a natural healing journey that my son's condition has opened my eyes to, I could really relate to this story and the frustration of trying to find help which is a (sometimes dangerous)process of trial and error.

I LOVED this book! Jennifer is such a sweet, brilliant soul! Her stories are very real life, and she shares what she learns about God's presence through the huge challenge of losing her eyesight in her late teens. This book and her CDs helped me face my life's challenges with a confidence and stronger faith than had I not been blessed to hear Jennifer's insights and wisdom. She also has a great sense of humour which also makes her work a joy to experience.
