I love the Outlander story! am reading this series for the second time, which started 20 years ago. This is the second book continuing the love story of Claire and Jamie Fraser in the early 1700s. But not just a love story. The author has done extensive research to give the reader the flavors of the time in history. I look forward the next installment!

First Family (King & Maxwell, Bk 4) (Audio CD) (Abridged)

A Good Read as always with David Baldacci's books. I really enjoy the King & Maxwell series. The characters' interaction are developed well and plot's twists and turn are exciting.

Jubal Sackett (Sacketts, Bk 4) (Audio Cassette) (Unabridged)
Review Date: 3/10/2012

Louis L'Amour is one of my favorite writers, especially his Western novels. The Sackett saga is great reading, especially on long trips. This novel is the second in the series. Taken from Amazon's website: "Jubal Sacketts urge to explore drove him westward, and when a Natchez priest asks him to undertake a nearly impossible quest, Sackett ventures into the endless grassy plains the Indians call the Far Seeing Lands. He seeks a Natchez exploration party and its leader, Itchakomi. It is she who will rule her people when their aging chief dies, but first she must vanquish her rival, the arrogant warrior Kapata. Sacketts quest will bring him danger from an implacable enemy . . . and show him a lifeand a womanworth dying for." L'Amour's stories are always exciting, filled with adventure, historical facts and many times, romance. You'l be hooked with the first story and want to read this, the next one.

This book introduces Dirk Pitt, although it was published several books after Cussler began the Pitt series. Dirk Pitt discovers a message capsule of a missing vessel and is reluctately drawn into finding her. Very enjoyable story with the classic Cussler plot twists and turns.

Small Miracles: Extraordinary Coincidences from Everyday Life
Review Date: 10/11/2006

It was such a joy to read a story from this book every morning! Although some of the stories do not have a happy ending, still, I was moved and inspired by them all. The authors tell of coinsidences that occur in people's lives that, if not acted upon or noticed, would have been missed. A good book for the bathroom!
