I'd like to invite other PBS members to join with me and a friend who volunteers at a prison library in Utah to gather credits which are used to solicit books in demand at that library. If you have an extra credit you'd like to give to an excellent cause, I can assure you it will be used to help people inside prison to read. We all know how humanizing an activity that is!

The non profit organization we have created to do this work is called "Books Inside: A Project for Expanding Prison Libraries". Its website will be up by the end of 2009, so we've come a long way in a short time. Books are such a valuable means of inspiring us all!
