This one inspired me to start an exercise program. I'm almost 70, but I'm not ready to give up yet, and this book helped me figure out what I need to do.

Great book that not only motivates you to get in shape, but also gives you 7 practical rules to follow. I am now trying to live the rules every day and after only a few months, I feel better, have lost weight, and am receiving multiple comments from people that I "look really good.". I highly recommend the book to anyone who is serious about living younger.

I love this book! It was recommended by an acquaintance and I've been recommending it to other women I know. This book inspired me to start exercising 6 days a week and I plan to continue.

This is a great book. I teach fitness and it is a good reminder of waht we all need to do. At times I thought the guy was a little presumptious, but overall it was good. The best part was the end where you have to think about life after kids and what quality do you want it to be. I'd highly recommend this.

I bought this book thinking it would have something new to say about taking care of yourself, and discovered that the audience for it is women in their retirement years (or approaching retirement). I'm a bit younger than that!
The men who wrote the book also assume that the women reading the book will be able to afford the suggestions within the book. One is a retired New York attorney, the other a male doctor with a good practice. And, as funny as Henry Lodge is, he misses the mark on what women actually need, and what is helpful.
Not sayin' that the information within it is useless--far from that--just take a close look at the bias of the writers. The first book in this series was written for men just like the writers of the book: white, with money, and privileged yet lazy.

Just what us men need - more octogenarian women running around thinking that they are sexy.
