A very cute, very informative little book! This handy survival book covers everything from the very useful (How to stop a car with broken brakes, how to survive a mugging) to the downright obscure (how to stop a runaway camel, how to survive a UFO abduction). It has handy little pictures and diagrams for the tricky parts, simple-to-read step-by-step instructions, and even a list of helpful emergency phrases in 5 different languages! A must-have for anyone who travels a lot, or even just a little!

Having read "Worst Case Scenario" which I believe is the first book in the series, I would have to say that I enjoyed the "Travel" version much more than the first one. I found the information to be slightly more useful, however, again, some instances are insane situations that no average person would become involved in. I did like the practical information such as how to purify water and distill water. There was also information on how to stop a car if the brakes fail--most people already know things like that but the point is that this one had more useable and applicable information than the first one.

A Hoot! Best read while driving across the country.
Fun book with interesting and useful information. You'll learn things like How to Cross a Piranha-Infested River to How To Survive an Airplane Crash. Also includes an appedix on essential travel strategies, phrases, and gestures to use (and avoid).
The "Worst Case Survival" series is hilarious, but also incredibly valuable. I've used at least one of these, and it was worth 100 times the cost of the book (in your case, FREE!)
