William J. Clark (born 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an author and historian.

Clark attended Middlesex School, Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys, Harvard College, and the Yale Graduate School. His non-fiction works include The Airmails of Bermuda, Images of America: Greenwich, and A Portrait of Greenwich (with Gary Calabro). His first novel, Winning the Lottery, appeared in 2008.
