This is a very forward and graphic book, although very amusing.

Terrific -- humorous, factual and complete information. Of course, with the advent of so many reproductive technologies, not all kids are the product of sex as described in this book, so it won't be appropriate for all families.

This book will definitely answer any questions children may have about making baby's. This book has does have cartoon pictures on anatomically correct male and females. This book must be reviewed by parents before sharing it with any children.

How I learned where babies come from, and sufficiently true enough to scare me away from saying "penis" continually in public.

a very smart, helpful way to teach the kids about where they come from.

This book came highly recommended to me from a friend. I have decided I don't know my friend as well as I thought! I will do without this book for assisting me in teaching my kids about reproduction. If you like goofy and silly then both the text and artwork will be just what you are looking for. Too much of the text was inappropriate with too much focus on how love making feels and the physical motions involved. I'll stick to the old classic, "Where Do Babies Come From?" It is full of well written, interesting facts and more age appropriate pictures...a glorified picture dictionary, if you will, that is easy for back and forth conversation between parent and child. The style of "Where Did I Come From?" just reminds me of embarrassed people who cover up by trying to make the situation funnier and/or goofy. Not my style. So, I'll pass the book along without my recommendation.

From the cover: Dr. Spock says I give this book top grades for humanness and honesty. Some parents will find that its humorousness helps overcome embarrassment. Others may be offended.
I made this book available to my kids and was glad to be able to provide them with accurate information in a format they could relate to.
