"There is nothing we can do to make God love us more. There is nothing we can do to make God love us less." What a freeing statement, which is made throughout this book. We don't have to earn God's grace or Love, it's a gift. Great book!

Author Philip Yancey explores grace at street level. How does grace
apply to everyday life - holocaust, Ku Klux Klan, murderers? A very
thought provoking book.

There is nothing we can do to make God love us more. There is nothing we can do to make God love us less. We speak of grace often. But do we understand it? More important, do we truly believe in it...and do our lives proclaim it as powerfully as our words?

"There is nothing we can do to make God love us more. There is nothing we can do to make God love us less." This is a book about grace and how hard it is to live a life of grace. A difficult and uplifting book at the same time.

I really enjoyed this book. There are many personal stories related that bring home the points in the chapters to make them feel very personal. It won't give you all the answers, but it sure does make you think and provides a framework about how we could all be more "gracious" to others.
In short, the most challenging and inspiring book I read all year.
Well written, interesting story about God's Amazing Grace. Well worth reading.
