A good book, with a thoughtful plot and realistic characters, but I didn`t like the ending. But that could just be my imagination, see I got this book for the exact purpose that I could get a happy ending. Other than that, it was really good. It had all the emotion and longing from the first books, with undertones of sadness. I think this series was going for exactly what it gave you... Happiness, but with the real life fact that life isn`t fair.
While the star-crossed lovers of Annie and Strat were even more crossed than usual in this book (the fourth in the series) after being seperated by several thousand years of time, it was still enjoyable and exciting following their adventures through ancient Egypt and Egypt circa 1899. The way the love affair wraps-up is surpising and unexpected and brings up a raft of questions that will keep the reader pondering the answers for quite a while. Be sure to read the other three books in this series first - in order - in order to enjoy this volume even more.
AWESOME BOOK! This is the fourth installment in the time series, and it lives up to the three previous books. It is an easy read with compelling action and keeps you wanting to read. Also it resolves almost perfectly for me, so I didn't need another sequel. I mean it, this is an incredible read!
