I'm not usually one for romance novels but this one was fun and just quirky enough that I had a lot of trouble putting it down once I picked it up!

It's cute, it's breezy, it's funny - it just not the Janet we now have come to know and love.
I think, however, that I'm probably holding the earlier Janet (this book is a re-release of one of her eary, pre-Plum books) to a too-high standard. If it was not an Evanovich, I wouldn't feel like the edge was missing.
Griping aside - an amusing beach read.

Evanovich should stick to Stephanie Plum.

This is an early effort by Janet Evanovich now reprinted. This is a cute romance set in Colonial Williamburg in contemporary times.

Light read but true to Janet Evanovich's style. Cute.

Megan Murphy, a potter who works part-time as a weekend aide in Colonial Williamsburg, and Patrick Hunter, a newly minted doctor who's taken over a pediatrician's practice there. They meet as a result of a rabbit attack and have to deal with one another because of a temporarily abandoned baby. There's instant... chemistry between them that they both immediately (but not very successfully) try to tone down, and the mixed joy of pretend parenthood as they both try to take care of the baby.

I love Janet Evanovich. I am embarassed to say that I even love her romance books, and have waited in line hours to get her autograph. I really wanted to like this book. It was BAD. Not at all funny. Not at all interesting. Dull characters. Blech

This is another great quick read from Evanovich...perfect for a rainy afternoon!

Cute story. Janet Evanovich has a knack for inserting romance into comedy. Or is it comedy into romance? Either way, her stories are incredibly entertaining! This is a re-release of a book that was originally published under the Loveswept line. A fun read.

Anything by Janet is good....This was a quick read and fun...great for the beach

I love the Stephanie Plum books but am not as crazy about her first novels. This is one of them. You do still get the feeling of good things to come, though.
In this one, Megan Murphy moves to Williamsburg, Va after she is left at the altar. She meets - a rabbit, who manages to eat part of her costume. The owner retrieves the rabbit; the rabbit returns; Megan returns rabbit. Then a baby is left with the rabbit's owner, a pediatrician new to town. Megan is mistaken for the doctor's wife and gets roped into helping take care of the child until the mother returns. The rest, of course, is history.

This was a cute fast read about a potter and a pediatrician. They find love through helping take care of an infant, fixing Thanksgiving dinner with their families, and helping deliver a foal. And throw in an ex-fiance who gets hit with a dart in the behind. This was a typical Evanovich comedy romance. I enjoyed reading it.
One of Janet Evanovich's older books, re-issued. Cute, light romance, with several laughs.
Funny, sexy read!
A new pediatrician and a determined-to-stay-single woman meet in the park when the good doctor's rabbit is caught chewing on the lady's skirt. Then a single mother leaves her with the doctor to take care of for 2 weeks without giving a reason. It is the Thanksgiving season and betweene the baby and the doctor's family and the lady's family things become quite involved. A nice easy read with a feel good ending!
Fun as all of Janet E's books are - an easy, quick read. This is NOT a Stephanie Plum book
Another fun read from Janet Evanovich.
Very cute. Not Stephanie Plum, but cute.
Great job again by Janet. I love to read her quick stories.
This took place in Colonial Williamsburg. Great place to visit

a very cute story - like having a hot cocoa with lots of gooey marshmallows . . . a wonderful indulgence.
An early Evanovich book set in Williamsburg. Sweet romance.
This is a nice easy read. I read it in one day. It's entertaining.
Great love storie about a baby, a rabbit, and the couple involved with them. I loved it!
Great book. Didn't want to put it down.
This is a super read. A wonderful love story.
Maybe these books are starting to grow on me; I thought this one was cute! Maybe I liked the idea of a potter and a pediatrician loving each other.
This had a bit more plot than most of Evanovichs works. Of course, an animal was involved a rabbit. Actually, this rabbit was a skirt-eating variety (trust me, this is the worst kind)! ;-) Tibbles doesnt seem to have much trouble escaping from Dr. Patrick Hunter.
When Megan Murphy arrives at Hunters home with the rabbit, they are interrupted by one of Hunters patients who promptly leaves her young son with Dr. and Mrs. Hunter just for a couple of weeks. Rather than turn the child in to social welfare agencies, Patrick and Megan decide to share taking care of Tim.
Man-hater Megan takes a second look at the good doctor; Pat has already decided he likes what he sees. Before long, they agree to make Thanksgiving dinner for his parents, who will visit even though cooking isnt in Megans repertoire of skills.
In this book, Evanovich cites logical reasons for Pat delaying marriage (even though he wants to marry Megan). He is saddled with crushing debt from medical school and he has to attract enough patients to develop a practice. This will require extra hours of work each day/night.
Megan has had 3 broken engagements and is leery of the entire male species. When her 3rd fiancée returns (with the engagement ring in tow), Megan starts thinking about her life and choices.
I guess I liked that real decisions had to be made, instead of constant goofiness. Its definitely a light book with loads of fluff.

Fun and lighthearted, sweet and romantic. Quick read for a cold autumn evening siting by a roaring fire.
very thin plot. Far from the Plum series and the best work of the author.
Quick read; a pre-Plum romance set in modern-day Colonial Williamsburg.
Like most of Janet Evanovich's stuff, this is a fun little read.
This book was originally published in 1988. It's cheesy and lacks emotional development and believability.
Excellent book - Evanovich does not disappoint. Fun, seasonal reomatic read. Carol
a great silly romance! I love Janet Evanovich's style!
quick, predictable, easy read
Cute book!
Fast read

A fun read about a doctor fresh out of med school with a wonderful sense of humor and an aspiring artist who'd been dumped at the alter living and meeting in Colonial Williamsburg. Made me want to visit Colonial Williamsburg again and look for the little fat bunny.
Fun read.
I did nor read it. Never will.(gift)
Funny, entertaining, a must read!!
Not Stephanie Plum good, but entertaining.
Great little romance!
Cute, quick read. Typical Evanovich, pretty fun.
Fun holiday story. Evanovich is always entertaining.
When a fiery redhead discovers a floppy eared rabbit gnawing on the hem of her skirt, she means to give its careless owner a piece of her mind- but the owner(the new pediatrician in town) is too attractive to stay mad at for long. A light pleasurable read.
Fun, quick read.
One of my favorite Evanovich romances! You'll really enjoy it!
Fun, easy read.
Fun easy read.
I loved the goofy characters in this book. Quick and enjoyable.
Very cute book!
The best of her early work. A fun, easy read for a lazy afternoon.
Quick and fun from Janet Evanovich. Originally published in 1998 but re-printed and distributed in 2006.
I loved this book! I couldn't put it down! Another great read by Evanovich!
A really good book. There's no such thing as a bad Janet Evanovich book. This was a fast read and a good one.
I love Evanovich but this "stand-alone" book was not one of my favs. I'll take Stephanie Plum anytime.
Not as good as the other books by Evanovich, but a light holiday read.
A cute little read.
Typical Janet Evanovich! Fun sexy holiday story.
An ok and quick holiday read.
I read this book in just a few days! It was so great - perfect book for around Thanksgiving too! Evanovich is one of my favorite authors. This book is a republished book of hers, a romance & very good!
Funny light story, very quick read
Her books are always fun! A cute holiday story that had me laughing out loud.
wonderful read
well written and very funny for I loved the rabbit. This book is very enjoyable even if it wasn't the holiday time.

I picked this up to read on the train and couldn't put it down. It is fast-paced with engaging characters.
A charming and funny book about love at first sight between a doctor and a potter in Williamsburg.
One of Janet's early romance novels. A quick, fun read but no where near as good as the Stephanie Plum books.
A quick read. Good feel story
This was a great book!
Not as good as her later books. Fair romance, good humor.
Predictable but a very nice love story.
DNF, hope someone else enjoys it!
Excellent!
A fast read from one of my favorite authors!
I liked it!!
Excellent book! Always something enjoyable!
Cute story - definitely an earlier work of Janet's. I still like the Plum series much better, but this was still a cute story like her other early books. :p
Good book, quick read. Another Evonovich enjoyable read!
This is a story about a fiery redhead, a cute pediatrician, and a matchmaker rabbit. It is filled with pumpkin pie, roaring fires, amily and a newfound love.
Good story, very funny.
A potter, a doctor, a wool-eating rabbit, a semi-abandoned baby and two screwball families. The usual hilarity ensues.
Cozy Romance. Great book!
Another Janet Evanovich enjoyable easy read.
Another great, fun read by a wonderful author.
amusing all the way thru.... good story
Awesome quick read, romantic Evanovich at her best.
excellant
A wonderful quick read. A nice love story.
Cute Thanksgiving book
very sweet romance in a historical setting. Has a potter in it - so has to be good!
Fun easy read. Kinda of predictable but still great as Evanovich books always are.
