For those fans of this delightful series, you will not be disappointed. Molly still manages to find trouble no matter how innocent she starts out. You will be reunited with her old friends, Sid and Gus, as well as her "beau" Daniel. There are some characters from previous books, If you want the real history behind these characters, it is better if you read the earlier installments. She is working on several "cases" in this latest venture, and she manages to tie everything together in the last pages. I am looking forward to book #8. Since this was a library book, I can't help those who have this book wish listed. Sorry.

Its wintertime in New York, and for the first time since Molly Murphy started her early twentieth century detective agency, she is completely snowed in with work. While shes proving to be quite the entrepreneur and is very much in demand, she has to grudgingly admit that if shes going to work more than one case at a time, then shes going to need some help. Mollys beau, Daniel Sullivan, would make an ideal associate, but before they can agree on the terms of his employment, they stumble upon a young woman lying unconscious in the middle of a snow-covered Central Park. When the woman wakes up she is disorientated and has lost her ability to speak, the authorities are about to pack her off to an insane asylum when Molly cant help but step in and take on yet another case.
