This is a chick-lit book with a definite twist. The story is fun and interesting. Cara Lockwood does a good job of keeping the story going at a pace where you really want to know what is going to happen next. Book was over before I knew it but hopefully there is a 3rd in the works for this series.
Hopefully anyone who reads this has an open mind on religious characters as the author pokes fun at the good and bad. This book title/ cover might raise a few eyebrows in your work breakroom as it did for me - it prompted a church conversation or two (same with the 1st in this series "Every Demon Has His Day").

A fun, silly, and upbeat paranormal tale.It branches off from the first book "Every demon Has His day" and tells a story of Rachel, Constance's friend, and mother to a devilish toddler. Literarily, she finds out her no good lazy husband has been replaced by a sloth demon and her baby is 1/2 demon. Cassidy, the toddler is hilarious, and the perfect toddler, LOL Sam a bounty hunter comes to town to take her husband in, yes, he's wanted. That's when the story gets crazy and just keeps going. A very enjoyable read with very funny lines !
I really wish Cara Lockwood would go back to writing FUNNY book like "Dixieland Sushi" & "Pink Slip Party" and all the others- all of which I rated w/ 4 or 5 stars. I suffered through "Every Demon Has Its Day" and barely finished it, I don't know why I thought this one would be better. I found this book boring, drawn out and having too many characters, none of which were interesting enough for me to attempt to try and keep up with all of it. I generally enjoy stories with a supernatural edge, but this one did nothing to hold my attention and I gave up.

When you're married to a demon but attracted to an angel, sparks will fly.
Sam is a fallen angel. He refuses to work for the devil and he had his wings plucked viciously from him when he worked for God; he refused to kill a young mother and her dying son. Now he works freelance and so far has been able to resist Satans offer of immortality and eternal servitude. But Sam isnt sure how much longer he can remain neutral.
Rachel Farnsworth used to be happy. Now, her husband Kevin is missing and on the day of their son Cassidys birthday. Shes tried calling his work and a few friends, but no one has seen him. Shes also sure something is wrong with Cassidy. No child should be able to climb on top of a refrigerator or create small fires out of nothing. Shes scared for him, and when she finds out that Kevin cleared out their bank account, shes stunned.
A demon named Pan had taken over Kevins body a few years ago. He knows the location of fallen angel Azazels tomb and Satan wants that information. Hes been hiding for years but now hes being hunted. He and another powerful demon unleash dark forces upon Dogwood County while Sam and Rachel work together to find the answers to stop it.
The attraction between Sam and Rachel sparkles. CANT TEACH AN OLD DEMON NEW TRICKS is written with wit, a supernatural fun plot, and extraordinary characters. Cara Lockwood has built a unique world of angels and demons with Dogwood County smack in the middle. I look forward to more in this superb series.

Good read. Very cute and fun tale of love found among demon and angel adventures. Good humor and story telling.
