The mind of a Nobel prize winning scientist: disturbing, or just disturbingly normal? With humor and not too much technical detail, Professor Feynman tells us how he helped develop the atomic bomb, cracked safes, picked up "babes," repaired radios, and played the bongos for a ballet. It's no joke; this memoir won't disappoint or frighten.

What a fantastic and entertaining group of short vignettes! Each is just long enough that you can pick up and read it when you've got 10 minutes or so to spare. The final one is especially moving and motivating.
Each is fun and interesting and tells about a different part of Feynman's life - from playing Samba music at Carnivale to having his paintings displayed in an art showing. This guy was way ahead of his time in *how* he thought about things. I absolutely love his no-BS stance toward pomposity and organization-led education.

Fabulous! Just don't make them like this anymore - the guy is a total nut and totally wonderful. A great fun read.

Over sized paperback. This book is just plain fun! I don't know Physics from a hole in the ground, but saw a brief documentary on Richard Feynman and fell in love! He was witty, irreverent and you will chuckle throughout. Hey, my major was Philosophy, I'm abysmal at math, and I just love the book!
