This is the first book I've read by this author. I really liked it. I've ordered two more in the series. Well written, really kept my interest.

A great sequel to the first book! I stayed up waaaay late to finish it, but couldn't wait til the end to get online and order other books in the series! It is so much fun to discover a new author -- and to have access to lots of books in the series!

LOVE ALEX KAVA*** LOVE HER MAGGIE O'DELL CHARACTER** I am hoping to see more books from this very special author. She is GOOOOOD. Then plot is great, as are the characters. It's easy to get hooked and then start searching for more of her work. HINT: Just read one, any one, of her boooks - and you will be searching for more as well.

GOOD READ
Good tense thriller! Very much enjoyed this book. It is the second by this author I have read so far, and look forward to the next book in the series.
Better than the first...
Great suspense and a fast read I really like all the Akex Kava book so what ever you pick up written by her is going to be good. This is another of her super works. Time well spent.
Maggie O'Dell, one of the FBI's best profilers, is pulled off Stucky's case and assigned to teaching. But Stucky pulls her back in the most heinous of ways.
Book two of the Maggie O'Dell series continues with a case from her past prior to book one.
Great story and I love Maggie for all her faults, dedication and courage.

Good read
One of my favorites!
suspenseful thriller with strong female character
They dubbed thim the Collector, so named for his ritual of collecting victims before disposing of them in the most heinous ways possible. FBI Special Agent Maggie O'Dell tracked him for two years, finally ending their game of cat and mouse. Now Albert Stucky has escaped from prison...and he is setting up a new game for Maggie O'Dell.
Some say Maggie O'Dell has lost her edge as one of the FBI's best profilers. Since capturing Stucky, she's been walking a tightwire, battling nightmares and guilt over the victims she couldn't save. Now that Stucky is loose again, she's been pulled out of the field. But she knows it's only a matter of time before she's drawn back in - because only she can see so clearly into the mind of this madman. And he's counting on just that.
As Stucky's trail of victims leads closer and closer to Maggie, she is put back on the case under the supervision of Special Agent R.J. Tully. Together they race against the clock to hunt the killer who remains one bloody step ahead of them. And Maggie finds herself pushed to the very edge. Has her desire to stop Albert Stucky become a matter of personal vengeance? Has she crossed the line? And has that been Stucky's goal all along - to make her into a monster?

Maggie O'Dell is an FBI Profiler. She is called to track down a Serial Killer who has made Her a Victem in the past, and once again has involved Her in His Horror-games.An excellent book.
FBI agent Maggie O'Dell has been recalled to Quantico to keep her safe from a serial killer that is using his kills to mess with her mind. She thinks she is the only one who will be able to catch and stop him. A real page turner and good story.
Alex Kava always keeps you on the edge of your chair. Great Book!
A Maggie O'Dell suspense and her arch enemy, Serial killer Albert Stucky.
Second in the Maggie O'Dell series, I love it!
When Serial Killer Albert Stuckey was finally put in prison, FBI Special Agent Maggie O'Dell breathed a sigh of relief. But it was only a few months later that Stuckey escaped from prison. Maggie is an expert profiler who knows Stuckey like the back of her hand. She is the one person who knows Stuckey's patterns, knows the way he thinks. As Maggie works with Special Agent R.J. Tully, they realize that the latest victims all have one thing in common...they have all been in contact with Maggie within a few hours of their death.
This is the second book in Kava's Maggie O'Dell series. I liked this story better than the first in the series. We know that the killer is watching Maggie closely. He knows exactly where she is at all times. It gave me a creepy feeling to think about someone being stalked but having no knowledge of where that person is hiding.
I liked many of the new characters that were introduced in this book, especially R.J. Tully and Tess McGowan. But I thought Maggie's continuous paranoia and inner thoughts were monotonous. My rating: 4 Stars.

Another of the Maggie O'Dell series, very suspenseful, action packed. FBI AGent Maggie O'Dell is a criminal profiler. She has been tracking "The Collector" (so named for his habit of collecting victime then disposing of them in the most heinous manner) for two years. He was finally captured, but now has escaped from prison. Maggie has to track him down
Maggie O'Dell profiler mystery
This is very good. I have read all of Kava's books.
Albert Stucky has escaped and is targeting Maggie comes into contact with. She meets Tess, and works the case with R.J.Tully. Maggie has a few surprises of her own leading to a final showdown with this haunting killer.
Good read about a female FBI profilers. Alex Kava is a super author.Good
Again great read by Alex Kava...keeps you turning the pages with every book!
Nicknamed the Collector for his ritual of collecting victims and disposing of them in the most heinous way possible.FBI special agent Maggie O'Dell finally ended his wave of terror. But now he has escaped from prison and is setting his trail of victims so they lead him closer and closer to Maggie herself.
Riveting, intense, thriller

Very good book, however, it is about 100 pages too long. I had to skip and skim some of it just because it has too many pages with too much description. The story is very good but it is overdone with too much explanation and descriptions of everything.
I've already read all her other books and found this one on my shelf so I think for a second book she just got carried away with too many words.

Alex tells a good story. She develops her main characters very well. I would categorize her in with Patricia Cornwell. My only problem with her is the use of foul language by some of her characters. While this may add realism to the story it degrades the literary content.
FBI Agent Maggie O'Dell is chasing the serial killer known as The Collector. When women O'Dell comes into contact with begin showing up murdered, O'Dell and her new partner Tully begin to wonder if there isn't an accomplice.....
Great story!
This is a story done to death...
I guess I would have to say I liked the book... but I liked all the other books I've read that sound just like it... I hope the next book is a different sort of story, I have like 5 more of her books, would love to enjoy them
