Spare Author:Prince Harry The Duke of Sussex It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother's coffin as the world watched in sorrow and horror. For Harry, this is that story at last. With its raw, unflinching honesty, Spare is a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.« less
What an eye-opener! How wonderful to hear Harry's story in his own words. Quite a journey he's had to travel, but now he's happier, healthier, and freer. Well done!
Prince Harry certainly opened up his entire mind and emotions for all to see. Sometimes raw, sometimes funny, always seemingly sincere and honest in his perceptions. I often felt true sympathy for the little boy who lost his mother so young, and in such a tragic and very public way. His PTSD has carried through to his adult life.
Have no idea where the initial 1-2 star reviews came from because they didn't leave a review, but this book is Excellent!!! And I rarely give 5 stars!
Heartfelt memoir, not nearly as scandalous as the press would like us to believe.
What I found most surprising is that William & Harry were really never that close. And there also seems to be a deep love between Charles and Harry, although they have a hard time showing it when outside forces are at work.
