Some are very short stories, some good, some more like outlines for a book he might have wanted to write, or maybe chapters of books he'd like to write. Works well for reading at bedtime, don't have to worry about not finishing a story.

Undated, but a neat preface by Hemingway. The first 49 stories, according to the front cover.
