This book is well written if you like David Weber but it has nothing about the character Honor Harrington in it. There are also chapters in the book that have been taken, word for word, from the previous book which I found annoying & served no purpose thatI could see..If you just want to read David Weber this book is good..If you want a book about Honor Harrington don't bother
I usually like David Webber, but not this book. The first chapter introduced several main characters, the second chapter introduced more, etc. There was little character development and I did not invest in any of them.
It required too much study and memorizing all the history of the worlds, politics, etc. for me to just enjoy the read. Perhaps I would have liked it better if I had just finished all of the preceding books and recalled the history. As it is, I quit after chapter 3.
