Mystery and murder. What is so special about an old box and an ancient formula that is worth killing for? Some of the characters have unique powers, but they are of minimal help in discovering the trail of the thiefs causing so much mayhem. Interesting view of how an unmarried woman struggles to make a living to support her siblings as well as maintain a respectable place in society. Good for a long commute.
