The best story in this anthology was written by Carly Phillips. The others were lacking...

The story by Jennifer Crusie was very well written for such a short story. The one by Lori Foster didn't impress me one bit, since at least half of the story was one sex scene, and I honestly don't remember the one by Carly Phillips well enough to comment on.

This Christmas anthology has three contemporary romances. I liked Jennifer Crusie's story the best, though it was a little short on romance. Lori Foster's story was a nice addition. I really didn't care for the Carly Phillips story. Overall, I would rate this book 3.5 Stars.

"Hot Toy" by Jennifer Crusie is about a shopper trying to get the hot toy of the season for her nephew.. only the guy who just dumped her is after the same toy
"Christmas Bonus" by Lori Foster is about a woman who has taken over her deceased Dad's company, she is now boss to her teenage crush, who everyone expected to be the new boss....
"Naughty Under the Mistletoe" by Carly Phillips is about an attorney who decides to kiss the office bachelor at the Christmas party.. only, it turns out to be his twin

I loved all three of these stories. This is the first time I've read Carly Phillips and really enjoyed her work. The Lori Foster story was definately my favorite! Hot, Hot, Hot!

I only bought this book for the Jennifer Crusie story, which I enjoyed reading.
The other two novellas are by different authors and I didn't bother reading them,
because they are not to my liking.

Fun fast read! If you like happy ever afters.....you will like these novellas. Each of the writers tell a cute story. I always like Crusie books and her short story does not disappoint. She was the reason I bought the book. Lately I have been reading for the entertainment, make me laugh out loud factor and this book fit that criteria. Lori Foster's writing was just short of smut but I say that in the nicest way! It made the story and didn't detract at all. Most of us gals wish we could have a Christmas bonus like Max. Carly Philips novella was also entertaining! Since life does not really imitate books, we must grab our mistletoe momemts where we can get them so I suggest reading this book. Again it's a light read, don't expect the earth to move just to be pleasantly entertained. I was.
