This is an interesting story about the boss's daughter trying to go off on her own. She winds up falling for Adam, a guy that her father fired for embezzling money from the company. There are several relationship changes and plots going on. There are some passionate interludes between the boss's daughter and Adam.

The book was written in 1992, so it's before Ms. Jackson started concentrating on psychopathic serial killers. But, the characters are interesting and their dilemmas are real. There's a mystery to solve, too.

I really did enjoy the book.

A silhouette romance. A little predictable on who the bad guys were & same old same old bad boy/rich girl romance. A quick read to pass time in an airport or short trip you might go on. I like Lisa's suspense thrillers a lot better.
