Ryk Erik Spoor (July 21, 1962 in Omaha, Nebraska) is an American technical writer, and author of science fiction and fantasy novels.

His first novel, Digital Knight, was published by Baen Books in 2003, with a second short novel Diamonds Are Forever (with Eric Flint) published in 2004 as part of the collection Mountain Magic. His third novel, Boundary, a collaboration with Eric Flint, was published by Baen Books in 2006. The sequel to Boundary, Threshold, was published in June 2010. There is another sequel currently contracted.

In May 2010, Baen published a new novel: Grand Central Arena (ISBN 1439133557), a science-fiction adventure set in 2375.

Spoor has recently posted parts of three works on Livejournal: Hyperion Origin, part of the back story of Grand Central Arena; Polychrome, a story set in the Land of Oz; and Fall of Saints, the first novel in a projected trilogy set in the literary universe of Digital Knight.

Spoor posts on USENET under the pseudonym "Sea Wasp."
