Marietta wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a courtesan. Max Valland will be her tutor but she can teach him more than he thinks.

This is the second in the Greentree Sister's series. I have liked how there is a continuing "mystery" that is going throughout all the books connecting them together. It is not just each sister's story but part of a larger story.

The notorious Madame Aphrodite has 3 daughters she challenges one of them who has had no training in seduction to woo Max the disgraced Lord Roseby The only thing dangerous mysteries could foil her plans along with breaking her mother's rule never fall in love.
