Definitely fluff piece. Amusing at times. Lucy and her husband open an artists colony and encounter very interesting characters. Throw in a haunted house and a truly unbelievably wacko mother, and life is never dull.

I didn't think it was possible for the characters in this story to be funnier than they were in "Tales From the Crib", but I was wrong. This book is hilarious! The story is told from the point of view of Lucy- a woman running an artist's colony with her husband Jack. From the crazy cast of artists living in the colony, to Lucy's wacky, new age mother and her issue riddled dog, and an elderly aunt who has recently discovered laser hair removal- you will be laughing out loud the entire time and probably reading passages to anyone who will listen.
I hope there will be a 3rd book in this series- I don't want to say goodbye to these characters!
