Excellent and entertaining. Ms. Stewart keeps readers on the edge of their seats with this treasure hunt mystery wrapped in a tender love story.
This isnt the best of Stewart's books, but it provides equal amounts of romance and mystery to appeal to lovers of both genre.
One of Mariah Stewart's earlier books, written before the FBI series, nevertheless, it is fun and light reading about a gorgeous diver who salvages treasure and a underwater archaelogist who fall in love, salvage a buried treasure and solve a mystery.
Blurb:

Mariah Stewart was a new to me author. Excellent reading, I would definitely read more of her books. The book is about salvaging a sunken Confederate blockade runner. Lots of interesting information about salvage & diving & a relationship between 2 people working on the salvage.
A fun read..light and entertaining

Rachel Chadler has always dreamed of finding sunken treasure and she resents being assigned this ho-hum salvage operation while her father is investigating a pirate ship. Most definitely, she does not want to work with infuriating Sam, who questions her every move. But when she and Sam stumble onto an unexpected cache of gems aboard the wreck, they start dreaming of a future together and falling deeper and deeper...in love.

one of the best of mariah stewart's books - about an underwater archaeologist and salvage - unexpected twists

A good book, I liked the different plot theme, treasure hunting under the ocean. It was connected to her Enright series a little. Good characters.
