This is the third book in the Talents series, and it's supposed to make the connection between those books and the Rowan/Tower and Hive series. I liked the two previous talent books, and The Rowan, but I don't care much for the Tower and Hive follow-ups. Pegasus in Space is typical McCaffrey, and has that scattered-plot-too-many-characters problem that is prevelant in her more recent work. However, it was a satisfying escape for several hours.
